In this course, which is accredited by The Nautical Institute and is the “A” phase of the Dynamic Positioning (DP) Operator training plan; It is aimed to teach the participants the basic principles and principles of DP and to prepare them for field missions by making them practice the use of DP systems.

This course is the first stage of the DP Operator Training Programs for Deck and Engine Officers who want to work on ships with DP systems. All mandatory certificates that participants must have within the framework of IMO rules must be complete and valid.

Education; It is performed in English using Kongsberg K-Sim DP simulation equipment.

After completion of the training, a computer-based assessment exam will be held and a minimum score of 70% is required for success.

The evaluation is carried out by Pîrî Reis University Maritime Simulators Center Directorate on behalf of The Nautical Institute.
