In this course, which is accredited by The Nautical Institute and is the “C” phase of the Dynamic Positioning (DP) Officers’ training plan; The Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) training program aims to provide personnel with more knowledge, experience and self-confidence in performing offshore operations under Dynamic Positioning (DP) control.

The course is designed for Deck Officers and Engine Officers currently enrolled in the Maritime Institute DP Operators Training Programme. Officers who have successfully completed phases “A” and “B” of the DP Operators Training Program can participate.

Training is conducted in English using Kongsberg K-Sim DP simulation equipment.

100% attendance and participation is mandatory to be successful in the training.
