Pîrî Reis University, following the wisdom of the great leader Atatürk “He who controls the seas, controls the world”, aims to train highly professional sailors for the maritime industry. One of the most important steps in achieving this goal is the use of maritime simulators to reinforce the knowledge and the skills of our students in the most realistic training environments under the supervision of our experienced instructors.

In addition to the practical training of university students with 15 different simulator types within the Maritime Simulators Center, we extend our service to the industry with our refreshment trainings, competency evaluations and bespoke training programs for senior and junior officers.

Our full mission bridge simulators house more than 50 ship models and over 80 geographical regions. Our full mission engine simulators can fully simulate the operation of 4 different engine types.

In Dynamic Positioning simulators, Phase A and Phase C processes of the Dynamic Positioning Operator training program are carried out under the supervision of our experienced trainers and fully within NI requirements.

In addition, our center offers feasibility and ship’s maneuver risk analysis reporting services for the construction, expansion and emergency planning projects of shore facilities.
